Great value and location near Copacabana
The rooms were quiet and spacious, with a comfortable double bed and a single bed for our son. The location was ideal, just a short 5-minute walk to the beach, and we appreciated having banks, cafes, and restaurants nearby. Our bathroom was clean with complimentary toiletries, but some aspects of the facility felt outdated, which could use some attention.

The rooms were reasonably spacious with required things, like a big window and a safe. The breakfast was included, I greatly enjoyed it. The location was great for traveling around Rio de Janeiro, just off Copacabana, and Brazil...

Great location (close to Copacabana Beach, restaurants and shops)
only two small lifts in the hotel and one of them was broken down for several days, fruit salad was fresh on Monday but brown and juicy on Friday, staff was unfriendly, the restaurant was full every morning and staff was too busy to clean the table with something else than their own hands, noise coming from the street (even if the bedroom was located at floor 10!), paid 5R$/day to have a safe in the bedroom, swimming pool is a baby bath

The pool was nice, varied and good breakfasts with toasts, fresh fruit plus bakery products. Central location was a plus.

The hotel is located just a few blocks from Copacabana beach, which was perfect for my family vacation. We had a Standard Twin Room that offered a nice view from the top floor, particularly of the Statue of Christ. Breakfast was excellent and varied, giving us a great start to our day. Our only issues were with the room keys that failed halfway through our stay and an unexpected mini-bar charge at checkout. It was a good value for the price given the location and amenities.

Breakfast had a good variety. great view of the mountain behind the hotel, but not of ocean/beach.
Staff unhelpful and not very friendly. We took a tour through the hotel and our guide left us at Sugarloaf so we had to take a cab back and we were not reimbursed. Room was not clean, even found a used condom on the floor. Bad place to stay and the price is ridiculous during carnival. I do not recommend staying here!

I really enjoyed Hotel Bandeirantes, I found the staff very friendly and helpful, the room clean and large, and the breakfast was really good too. My final price ended up being even cheaper than I had booked originally so all around I was satisfied. Short walk to beach, lots of shops and restaurants just a block away.

Cozy stay just steps from Copacabana
Offering great local tips and allowing me to store my luggage post-checkout. The rooftop pool provided nice views, but pack a light jacket if it's chilly.
The internet connection was spotty was good. The breakfast options were decent but lacked variety, especially for vegans. Expect some street noise if you're on lower floors.

Really bad set-up if you want to stay extra nights. They want you to book on the net, cant do it at reception. A joke! On the net, price 270r, next day to book on net 1200 r!!! Yes 1200.. a scam just to rip you off. The rooms look good, but infact are filty. The bathroom, they never clean, nor take away used towels. The pool is a large hottub, tiny in size. Buffet is good, for breakfast. My advice to anyone looking is dont book this place, book a apartment, much cleaner, cheaper and better bang for you money. Ill never stay here again. Arrived 17.3.12.

Recommend it for super chill travelers
Had an unexpected upgrade to a spacious suite that really exceeded my expectations. The breakfast service was excellent, and the staff was friendly. Plus, I could enjoy a lovely morning by the pool with a fine view.
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly,, but nothing I couldn't handle.
